There are quite a few stairs to the lake, but don't worry—there are large landings where you can take a break. Think of it as a mini workout! Just a heads-up: we close the steps to the lake in the winter, so please avoid using them when they're slippery and wet.

How many people can it sleep?
The reason my cottage is named CAMP is simply because it came with a handcrafted sign that said so when we bought the land. Plus, it’s a nod to my dad, who was a scout leader for many years and brought my brothers up to Haliburton every summer. Sadly, back then, girls weren’t allowed to join the scouts. Now, we finally have our own cottage in Haliburton—no scouting skills required!
Why is our cottage called “Camp”
Unfortunately, the summer season and surrounding trees bring mosquitoes. To combat them, we have the property treated by www.mosquito.buzz and have set up mosquito traps on site. Additionally, your welcome kit includes bug spray from www.staybitefree.com for extra protection.
